THRUXTON KART CENTRE ADDS ACCESSIBLE KART TO FLEET

Thruxton Kart Centre is today happy to announce the addition of the first Accessible Kart to our fleet. In an effort to make our venue more accessible to everyone, we have worked closely with our kart partner, Biz Karts, to deliver an entirely hand-controlled kart.

This adapted kart uses a system on the steering wheel, connected to the throttle and brake systems, to make an intuitive and exciting experience, whilst maintaining both the handling and performance of our regular karts for those with reduced lower body mobility.

Pat Blakeney, Thruxton Circuit Operations Manager said; “It’s important to everyone at Thruxton Circuit to make our venue accessible to all. This kart is the next step in the direction the venue is heading. Working with our longstanding partners, Biz Kart, on this project has been incredibly rewarding.”

The accessible kart is available to be used in all adult bookings from today.
