We're recruiting - Catering Assistant

We are seeking to employ a Catering Assistant who will assist in overseeing all aspects of Thruxton Circuit's Hospitality/Catering Department. We expect this position to evolve over time to an Assistant Manager's position. No Managerial experience is necessary as Training will be given but we do have a list of minimum requirements/qualifications.

Essential

• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2

• City and Guilds level 1 and 2 or equivalent

• Experience delivering catering-led events such as weddings and banquets

• Experience working front of house in a Duty Manager capacity

• Bar experience

• Experience liaising with contractors and clients

• Customer focused

• Confidence engaging with staff, customers and members of the public

• Strong communicator with the ability to carry out staff briefings

• Knowledge of food safety standards and licensing laws

• Available to work a flexible shift pattern (to include weekends)

• Good time management

• Own transport {due to work location) as no public transport

Desirable

• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3

• Personal Liquor License

• COSHH

• Experience managing small to medium-sized events

• Experience working in an events venue

• Knowledge of current food trends
