Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs

Motorsport events can be dangerous and the health and safety of our attendees and participants is of primary importance. Allowing any animals onto the event site can increase the health and safety risks and danger inherent in these types of events.

The events can be crowded and can be very loud, creating an unpleasant environment for animals.

Race Meetings and Test Days

With the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs, NO ANIMALS ARE ADMITTED on these events/days when the race circuit is in use.

Assistance dogs must have formal identification in the form of a harness, organisation specific branded dog jacket, lead slips or id tags on the dogs collar. Assistance dog users must be able to provide a yellow ADUK branded ID book. If the dog is not registered with ADUK, we have the right to refuse entry.

For more information, please visit : www.assistancedogs.org.uk

All intended visits with an assistance dog to Thruxton Circuit for a Race Meeting or Test Day must be notified to the circuit via completion of the ONLINE FORM at least 7 days prior to the event you are planning to attend.

Your form will be reviewed by the Event Management Team and if the request is approved you will be sent an email to confirm this, which you will need to show to the Security Staff if requested.

Thruxton Circuit reserves the right to turn away dogs at the gate who do not comply with this process or meet the conditions of a registered guide dog or assistance dog.

Driving Experience Days and Other Non-Racing Events

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Thruxton Circuit during driving experience days and other non-racing events. We understand that dogs are part of the family, and as long as they remain on a lead and under control at all times, they can enjoy the day alongside their owners.

Please ensure your dog is comfortable with crowds and noise, as the circuit can get busy during events. For the safety and comfort of all attendees, we kindly ask owners to clean up after their pets and ensure they are supervised at all times.
