For example, our Porsche Cayman One-2-One experience will have you behind the wheel for over 24 miles on the UK’s fastest race circuit! The Skid Pan experience is also perfect for learning car control (including in your own car) under low-grip conditions.

Our driving experiences start with a full briefing by one of our ARDS-qualified race instructors. They’ll walk you through the circuit layout, racing line, flags, and braking point. Then, when you’re in the car you’ll receive expert guidance from one of our ARDS race instructors to ensure you’re safe, confident and making the most of your time on track at Thruxton. Our instructors are ARDS-qualified, highly experienced and fully focused on delivering a great day for you. Thruxton has been running driving experiences for over 35 years, with a strong reputation for quality and professional service. Many of our instructors are champions across a variety of motorsport disciplines including F3, F4, GT’s and Saloon Cars.
You must be 17 or over and hold a full UK driving licence to drive a supercar or racing car on one of our adult driving experiences. For younger drivers, we also offer Junior Driving Experiences from 12 years old and at our kart centre, budding racers can get on track from 8 years old.
We don’t have Formula 1 cars but we do offer Formula Renault and Formula Ford single-seater racing cars (Lewis Hamilton won the UK championship on his way to Formula 1). These are ideal for anyone wanting serious track thrills. We also offer Sports 2000 racing cars for anyone who are too tall for the Formula Renault or Formula Ford racing cars.
