It depends on what you want from the day. Our Racing Car Driving Experience is our most popular driving experience. Putting the driver behind the wheel of the new Alpine A110S sports to learn the circuit, then strapped into a proper single-seat racing car. To finish the experience, a high speed lap with our own tame racing driver. Beforehand, all guests will have demonstration laps with our ARDS qualified race instructors. The Racing Addict Driving Experience adds extra laps in the racing car for more seat time, plus high speed laps in our two-seat racing car and with former F1 driver and Top Gear presenter Tiff Needell in the BMW M2 Competition. All of our Supercar PLUS experiences also include driving the racing car.
You will sign on, attend a driver briefing, then complete sighting laps with an ARDS qualified race instructor. After that you’ll drive the Alpine A110S sports car, giving you plenty of time to learn the Thruxton circuit. Then it's time to be strapped into the single seat racing car. We provide all the equipment you’ll need including helmet and gloves. They feel different to road cars because they are lighter, more direct and use slick tyres or semi-slicks. With simple guidance on seating, steering input and braking points, most first-timers are comfortable within a few laps.

We run a fleet of racing cars including; the Formula Renault - Lewis Hamilton won the UK championship on his way to Formula 1. Formula Ford 2000 - Ayrton Senna competed and won the UK championship. We also run Sports 2000 racing cars for guests who have longer legs and need a bit more room. All of our fleet offer a true racing car experience. You sit low, with all the control within easy reach, and give immediate responses to your inputs. We also offer a two-seat racing car passenger ride with a pro drive for the ultimate white-knuckle ride.

For the Racing Car Driving Experiences, drivers need to be at least 17 years old and hold a full, valid driving licence. There are some height and weight limits for the racing car element, which can be found on our terms and conditions page. Please call our office to discuss, if you have any concerns. Our Junior driving experiences have separate age and size requirements.

Wear thin-soled driving shoes and comfortable clothing with long sleeves and trousers. We provide helmets and all required safety equipment. Avoid bulky footwear and remember to bring layers as you’ll be outside throughout the driving experience.
