Circuit Operatives
Circuit Operatives are part of a team whose task is to provide safe, competitive kart racing for the enjoyment of our customers. As the company aims to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, all staff must be willing to work to high standards at all times. Duties include marshaling, startline, pitlane, workshop and front of house.
Team members are expected to have a flexible approach to working hours which could be weekdays, weekday evenings and weekends. Contracts include holiday pay.
RACE DIRECTORS MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet, greet and sign-in customers
Deliver the race safety briefing
Responsible for the implementation of the Karting Schedule of Arrive and Drive, races and corporate/group parties
Oversee, manage and operate the race control timing and display system to provide safe, competitive kart racing for the enjoyment of our customers
Act as a duty manager of the venue whilst providing strong, effective and highly visible leadership to karting staff
Ensure karting personnel run all races/events safely, efficiently and professionally
Ensure that all cash controls and cash handling procedures are followed and adhered to
Ensure all circuit and maintenance tasks are completed to maintain the highest standard of facility appearance
Be fully conversant with the Staff Handbook and the NKA (National Karting Association) guidelines
Receptionist
We are looking for a friendly, informative, and welcoming receptionist to join our team. As a receptionist, you will serve as a positive first impression of the company at all times, while handling the daily responsibilities of a receptionist with efficiency and ease. You will answer inquiries, provide information to customers and visitors, and maintain an organized front desk.
Receptionist Job Duties and Responsibilities
Greet everyone who comes to the front desk
Assist in signing on customers, collecting payments and handing out safety equipment
Answer phone inquiries, and provide basic company information
Perform clerical duties as required, maintain paperwork, and organize documents, etc
Monitor front desk and comply with all security procedures for visitors
Assist in setting up events, meetings, luncheons etc
Skills Required
The ability to smile and be welcoming
Exhibit enthusiasm for the facility and for the job
Basic working knowledge of the use of a cash till machine
Basic Maths skills
Be precise, accurate and precisely follow procedures
Ability to work under pressure

Day to day running of the office and administration
Making and receiving phone calls
Answering customer queries over the phone and via email
Dealing with bookings for private and corporate customers
Taking payments and deposits for bookings
Keeping the booking system up to date
Updating the website
Communicating with track staff regarding bookings and customer requirements
Dealing with all customers and visitors in an efficient and enthusiastic manner
