Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 Arrives At Thruxton

Another new supercar has arrived at Thruxton and this time it’s a British icon – the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430.

Inspired by Aston Martin’s rich racing pedigree, the N430 is the most dramatic version of the Aston Martin Vantage ever created. They’ve taken the beauty, dynamics and athleticism of the original Vantage and produced a unique and enthralling special edition that is the Vantage N430.

Building on the legacy of the acclaimed N400 and N420 special editions, The Aston Martin Vantage N430 delivers excitement and intense performance with a thrilling soundtrack. Sat in the pit lane it sounds aggressive, when you get out on track and hit the throttle the volume goes up to 11! The Vantage N430 delivers impressive figures and feels truly special out on track.

About the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430

The Vantage N430 is a road going version of Aston Martin’s GT4 and GTE race car which have been honed at the ultimate proving ground, the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

With unprecedented success in the gruelling Nürburgring 24-hour race - which Aston Martin have supported for many years - 2013’s win for the V8 Vantage GTE in the FIA World Endurance Championship further underlines the exceptional pedigree of N430 as the race car technology transfers to the road.

Adorning both the front grille and window surround of the Vantage N430 is a contrasting pearl white, making the car instantly stand out from the standard Aston Martin Vantage. This combined with lightweight graphite grey wheels make the car look menacing as it sits in the pitlane.

The magnificent 4.7litre V8 engine which sits at the heart of Vantage N430, positioned low in the chassis to improve cornering and stability, produces 430bhp and 361lb/ft of torque, with a 0-62mph time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 190mph (the same engine powers the GTE and GT4 race cars with only minor specification changes).

Inside the Vantage N430 is designed to leave an impression. The interior environment of race-bred materials weaves together luxury and tactility to create a refined and focussed cockpit.

For a truly nimble experience comes a purist six speed manual gearbox. Having three pedals and a gearstick in a modern supercar is a real treat and add to the excitement of driving the car on track.

The N430 is designed to be lightweight and nimble. Race-inspired features include Carbon-Fibre and Kevlar seats and 10-spoke forged alloy wheels in a unique graphite finish save 20kg compared to the standard V8 Vantage.
