For 2026 the Thruxton Retro Presents Back to the 80s. Expect two days of retro racing on track and 80s beats and atmosphere off it.
Experience the thrill of driving your own car or bike around the iconic Thruxton Circuit.

Track Parades at Thruxton Circuit offer a unique and unforgettable way to experience the thrill of the UK’s fastest race track — in your own car!
These relaxed, non-competitive laps allow you to drive the full Thruxton Circuit at a gentle pace, soaking in the sights and atmosphere from behind the wheel - no racing license or special equipment required.
With marshals guiding the way and plenty of photo opportunities, Track Parades are a safe, fun, and accessible way to enjoy the circuit’s legendary layout, all without the pressure of racing.
What to expect:
Public Car Track Parades will take place on Friday 20 June at 12.00 and 15.00. The track parades are FREE to participate in for this event for ticket holders.
Here’s how it works:
From the Main Car Park (Car Park A) drive towards Gate 2. From there, you’ll be signed on for the parade lap.
You’ll then be directed on to the circuit where you’ll line up on the start/finish straight.
Once everyone is in position, you’ll set off for a lap of the circuit - perfect for soaking up the view and snapping a few in-car photos!
At the end of the lap, you’ll exit the circuit and be directed back to Car Park A.
We’ll run multiple sessions if needed so everyone who has registered will get their chance to drive the lap.
Timings:
We’re running two parade lap sessions - 12.00 and 15.00.
Please ensure you’re in your vehicle and ready to go in good time. Look out for members of the Thruxton team in fluorescent vests, who’ll help sign you on.
