Main Stage Line-Up Revealed for Thruxton Retro: Back to the 80s

Thruxton Retro is turning the volume up for 2026, and we can now reveal the four live acts set to take over the main stage as we go Back to the 80s from Friday 3 - Sunday 5 July 2026.

Across Friday 3 and Saturday 4, expect big choruses, iconic throwback hits and the kind of feel-good atmosphere that makes the Thruxton Retro weekend more than just a race meeting.

Friday: Big anthems to start, local legends to finish

Opening the Thruxton Retro weekend are The Internationals, bringing a set packed with crowd favourites from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Bon Jovi, Spandau Ballet and many more. It’s the perfect warm-up for a full weekend of cars, culture and 80s vibes.

Then, closing out Friday night, local favourites The Torn Off Strips will take the stage with a high-energy mix of 80s rock and pop designed to keep the party going. With a reputation for getting crowds on their feet and a polished live setup, they’ll set the tone for a big Saturday to come.

Saturday: Full 80s celebration, in true stadium style

Saturday kicks off with The 80s Band, delivering a rapid-fire trip through the decade’s greatest moments, from synth-pop classics to big, hands-in-the-air stadium hits. Expect a set built for singalongs, with plenty of those “I forgot how much I loved this song” moments from start to finish.

And as the Saturday headline act, UKQueen will bring a full-scale Queen tribute show to Thruxton Retro, recreating the sound, look and atmosphere that made Queen legendary. From soaring vocals and huge guitar moments to the choruses everyone knows, this is a headline set made for a packed crowd and a proper Saturday night party.

On-track entertainment: Retro racing in full voice

It wouldn’t be the Thruxton Retro without action on track too. Across the weekend, the UK’s fastest track will host a packed programme of retro, classic and historic racing, delivering the sights, sounds and close battles that make this event such a fan favourite.

Family fun, plus great food and drink

Thruxton Retro is built for families as well as petrolheads, with plenty to keep younger visitors busy away from the racing and main stage. Expect dedicated kids’ entertainment and funfair across the venue, making it easy to turn the weekend into a proper day out for all ages. When it’s time to refuel, you’ll find a strong mix of street food, sweet treats craft beers and cocktails, alongside the Thruxton Centre’s food and drink options, so you can grab a bite, take a break and head back for more music and motorsport.
