THRUXTON RACE CIRCUIT – UPDATE

We hope that you are managing to keep yourself safe and isolated at this difficult time.

All motorsport events in the UK continue to be suspended until at least 30th June 2020. Unfortunately, this means that we have had to postpone the first three race meetings of the year at Thruxton – the British Touring Car Championship (16/17 May), Thruxton Historic (6/7 June) and British Truck Racing Championship (27/28 June).

We're working hard with each championship organiser to find suitable alternative dates for the second half of the year. As soon as we have an idea of replacement dates, we will be in touch with you again. Your tickets will be valid for the new date.

You will appreciate that our offices are currently closed, both for the welfare of our staff and to comply with government advice. We will share with you any further information we have, just as soon as we have it on our website and social media channels. We promise all our customers that we’ll be opening our doors as soon as possible for more high-speed racing action at the UK's fastest race circuit.

THRUXTON MOTORSPORT CENTRE - UPDATE

Gift vouchers now valid For 18 Months. We're extending expiry dates on all driving experience vouchers from 12 to 18 months. Whether customers already have a voucher or for new purchases. Ensuring customers have plenty of time to book a date to attend.

None of our race meetings or driving activities could run without the support of experienced medical professionals who give up their free time to ensure everyone on track is kept safe. Many of these heroes work within the NHS, so a special thank you to all the NHS staff working tirelessly to look after those affected by COVID-19.

In the meantime, please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you back at Thruxton as soon as possible.

THRUXTON RACE CIRCUIT – UPDATE

All motorsport events in the UK have now been suspended until at least 30th June 2020.

This means that the first race meetings of the season at Thruxton will have to be postponed to alternative dates later in the year. This includes the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) in May, and the Thruxton Historic and British Truck race meetings in June.

All tickets will be valid for any rescheduled date. If the race meetings are cancelled and not rescheduled, or if you cannot attend on the new date, a full refund will be made to ticket holders.

As the Thruxton offices are now closed as a result of the government lockdown, please do not try to contact the circuit to discuss a refund or any alternative date. Our website and social media channels will be updated with the latest information as soon as we have it.

THRUXTON RACE CIRCUIT – UPDATE

All motorsport events in the UK have been suspended until April 30th 2020.

The first race meeting of the year at Thruxton is scheduled to be the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) on 16/17 May 2020. At this time, we are continuing to plan ahead as normal for this event, as well as for the Thruxton Historic and British Truck race meetings in June.

Should the situation change and we have to postpone any of our race meetings, then all tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. If race meetings are cancelled entirely and not rescheduled, or if you cannot make the new date, full refunds will be made to ticket holders.

We are continually monitoring the guidelines and advice provided by the UK Government and Public Health England, as well as the sanctioning bodies of Motorsport UK, ACU and MCRCB.

Our website and social media channels will be updated with the latest information as we have it.

Friday 13 March 2020

Following on from the government's announcements on Thursday 12th March 2020, we can confirm that Thruxton Race Circuit is continuing, in so far as is possible, with business as usual.

In line with many venues and event organisers, Thruxton is monitoring the Covid-19 situation and the advice of the experts and government.

The situation is evolving rapidly and may of course change in the next few days and weeks, depending on the advice of experts and government guidance, but for now, we are preparing for all our events to go ahead as planned.

In the unlikely event that one of our race meetings cannot take place, we would look to reschedule it to a later date in the year. All tickets would be valid for any revised date, but if that ends up not being practical for customers, they will be eligible for a refund.

We would like to reassure all of our customers that if any of our race meetings are cancelled, they will automatically be refunded their purchased tickets.

Driving Experiences, Karting, 4x4 and Skid Pan experience days are all scheduled to go ahead. We’re taking extra precautions to ensure all equipment and facilities are kept clean.

In the meantime, we are looking ahead to the start of the 2020 season which will see the British Touring Car Championship, Thruxton Historic, British Trucks and British Superbikes take on the fastest race circuit in the UK!
