2021 - Thruxton Historic News - Jochen Rindt Trophy Race

This years Thruxton Historic will feature the Jochen Rindt Trophy. Two celebration races for single seat race cars in the spirit of Thruxton through the 60's 70's & 80's.

Early Formula 2, Historic & Classic F3's, Formula Atlantic, FF2000 and invitation class cars racing at the fastest circuit in the UK. A headline event at the 2021 Thruxton Historic - Saturday 12 - Sunday 13 June 2021.

A 20-minute qualifying session followed by two 20-minute races across both days of the Thruxton Historic.

Adrian Reynard to support FF2000 class, and possibly get behind the wheel himself!

We are delighted to announce that the FF2000 class of the JRT will be run for the Adrian Reynard Trophy. Adrian has kindly agreed to help promote the event and will find a special memento for the winner plus, he's hoping to race in the Jochen Rindt Trophy races himself!

“I hope to have two fully restored 78SF and 79SF cars ready by then. The 78SF is the actual first car I won my first championship race at Silverstone in 1978 so it is interesting for me and it’s taken a year to bring back to its former glory!”
